Elizabeth Esekong Andrew-Essien holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Resources Management from the Department of Geography and Regional Planning, University of Calabar, Calabar. The professional teaching experience of Prof. Andrew-Essien spans over eighteen years cutting across a range of interests that focus on environmental challenges, resource planning, management, and sustainability. Prof. Elizabeth Andrew-Essien has publications in both local and foreign journals. Her professional experience includes: Team coordination for promoting Eco- skills projects in the Department of Environmental Resources Management, University of Calabar: 2020-till date; Involvement in the Development of the Cross River State UN-REDD+ strategy investment plan Team coordination of the UN-REDD benefits and safeguards.
