Mrs Oluwafunmilola Omorinola Eyeoyibo

Funmi Eyeoyibo has over 30 years of experience in the public, private and NGO sectors in Africa. She is a sustainability practitioner, a LEAD International Fellow on Sustainable Development, a Fellow of the Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NUFFIC), and a Certified Lead Auditor in Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015) and Food Safety Management Systems (ISO 22000:2005). She is also versed in climate change studies, gender issues and community-based project interventions.

Her experience includes consulting on the Circular Economy Scoping Report for Nigeria (2022); technical lead for the eleven-country stakeholder engagement and mapping for AGRA's Agricultural Resilience Strategy (November 2020 to June 2021); assistant Editor-in-Chief of the Ecological Society of Nigeria; Oxfam and CTA consultancies on climate change adaptation, INDCs and climate-smart agriculture; project management support for an AfDB-sponsored project on adaptation of coastal cities and communities to climate change impacts (2015 to 2016); contributing authorship of Nigeria's National Agricultural Resilience Framework (2014); and project coordination of the Nigerian Conservation Foundation and Oxfam climate change adaptation training for farmers (2013).

She holds a Master's degree in Zoology and certificates from the World Bank Sustainability Training and E-Learning Program, training of trainers on environmental and social risk management, and facilitation of multi-stakeholder processes and curriculum development at Wageningen University's Centre for Development Innovation.
