Nigeria's Transition to Green Economy: Linking Circular Economy and Natural Capital for Public Private Partnership (PPP) Investments
African Green Growth & Development Forum
Abstract
Evaluates in detail the current landscape for transitioning Nigeria from an unsustainable linear economic model to a circular model along critical sectors, and links circularity to natural capital and to public-private partnership investment. The priority sectors and their focal industries are energy (power, oil and gas, transport and logistics); agriculture, forestry and other land uses (agro-allied products and forestry); industrial processes and product use (construction and textiles); and services including waste and water (packaging, electronics and organic waste).
