Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF), 2018

Abstract

One of four technical reports produced for the World Bank study on Nigeria's readiness for REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation), delivered to the Federal Ministry of Environment. An Environmental and Social Management Framework sets out the procedures for screening, assessing and managing the environmental and social effects of activities carried out under a programme.
